Strictly's Tess Daly shares rare snap of Vernon Kay amid I'm A Celeb rumours
Strictly's Tess Daly gave her fans a rare update on her family while it's rumoured her husband Vernon Kay will appear on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here
Strictly Come Dancing's Tess Daly has shared a rare insight to lockdown with her husband Vernon Kay ahead of his rumoured I'm A Celeb stint.
Vernon, 46, was reported to be offered £250,000 to stick out some of lockdown two with the great and the good of the showbiz world at Gwrych Castle for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.
His wife Tess, 51, gave her fans an update on family life in lockdown as she looked back on the highlights of this year.
The Strictly host has loved her country walks with her family and taking time out to cuddle her pooch.
While she said lockdown "sucks not seeing our family", Tess tried to boosted positivity on her Instagram.
She wrote: "Day 2 of new lockdown, while it sucks not seeing our family or friends or doing so many of our favourite things, I wanted to share a wee bit of positivity as there’s a lot of doom and gloom on our feeds right now...So here’s a few things that have made me smile this year that I’m grateful for…
"Discovering the really beautiful places we have in the UK on our doorstep and going for serotonin boosting walks in the local countryside with my tribe.
"Focusing on self care! Nourishing the spirit and cultivating calm with a more regular yoga practice. It feels so beneficial for mind AND body too.
"A new skill learned; At the start of the year I worked with a wonderful team designing my own bedding range which launched a few months ago and I’m so grateful for the opportunity and the positive feedback I’ve received.
"Cuddles with Mickey the MOODBOOSTER. This little furball melts my heart."
It comes after Vernon revealed the married couple had reconnected in lockdown while raising their girls Phoebe, 16, and Amber, 11.
The dad reflected on the positive things which had come out of the coronavirus pandemic.
In a rare interview, he said: "The positive thing is that it’s enabled us as a family to really get to know each other even better than you would as a family.
"When you think about it when you’re in a relationship, a working relationship, you wake up, you go to work, you get back and you have your dinner, kids doing their homework, you go to bed.
"So you only really see each other for four or five hours in a day, if that.
