Max George 's girlfriend Stacey Giggs reportedly "read him the riot act" and warned him to tone down his flirting in a bid to avoid the Strictly curse.

The Wanted star, 31, is among the celebrities taking part in the 2020 series of the BBC talent show, and he's partnered with Dianne Buswell, 31.

He's dating Ryan Giggs' ex-wife Stacey, 41, and according to new! magazine, she warned him to curb his flirting ahead of the show start.

A source told the publication: "Max is a terrible flirt and very cheeky.

"There's definite chemistry between him and Dianne, but she is a total professional.

"Stacey apparently read Max the riot act before he went on the show and has now given him another warning, so he knows he can't cross the line.

"Max is a very lovable guy and women are drawn to him. He's got that charm."

An insider close to Stacey added to the mag that she's aware the show will put pressure on the relationship.

However, Max has told her she has nothing to worry about.

The source said: "Max has assured her she has nothing to worry about and she believes him."

Dianne is currently dating her 2018 Strictly partner, Joe Sugg, but the couple have been torn apart by the Covid-19 restrictions.

The dancer has to be in a bubble with Max so they can work together, and that means she's had to move out of the home she shares with Joe.

Speaking on Lorraine, she admitted it's been tough not seeing her man.

Dianne said: "Because of Covid-19, each couple has been brought together in a support bubble, allowing them to dance and work closely only with each other.

"I'm part of Max's bubble so I can't see Joe so I've had to move out.
