Stormy Daniels has hit back at Melania Trump as the "porn hooker" row escalates ahead of the US presidential election.

The first lady had hit out at the 41-year-old adult actress, who allegedly had an affair with US president Donald Trump in 2006, and her explosive words were heard in a tape that was released on Monday.

Melania slammed Stormy for being a 'prostitute' after she found out that she would be having a Vogue photoshoot in 2018.

Stormy has now hit back in a foul-mouthed rant on Twitter, in which she accused Melania of "selling her p***y and soul".

Taking to social media on Tuesday, Stormy directed at the 50-year-old first lady: "Hahaha! Although I wasn't paid for sex and therefore technically not a 'hooker' I'll take being that over what you are any day."

The adult actress then hit out at Melania's immigration status along with a damning verdict on her reasons for being with Donald Trump.

She added on Twitter: "You sold your p***y AND your soul...and I'm legal," she wrote. "Keep talking about me. I like your new tits btw. Post (more) nudes? #bebest lol."

Daniels also appeared to mock Melania's steamy shoots from her modeling days in the shocking Twitter blast.

Including the "be best" hashtag seems a thinly-veiled jibe at Melania's campaign to improve lives of children in the United States.

Stormy, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, was the subject of tapes of a private conversation Melania had with her former best friend and advisor, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff.

The recording is from July 2018 and it has the moment FLOTUS finds out adult actress Stormy Daniels will be in an issue of Vogue.

Melania shares her dismay with Wolkoff, saying: "It’s the porn hooker. Annie Leibovitz shot the porn hooker, and she’ll be in one of the issues."

Stormy famously signed a non-disclosure agreement before the United States presidential election in 2016, after it was alleged she had an affair with Donald Trump in 2006.

Wolkoff is appearing in the latest episode of the president's former lawyer Michael Cohen's podcast, Mea Culpa, in which she has shared the explosive conversation.

Wolkoff claims that Melania was 'in a state of disbelief' as she hadn't been offered a Vogue cover since Trump became president and hadn't adorned the magazine's front since appearing in her wedding dress in 2005.

Daniels appeared in the August 2018 issue of Vogue, alongside her lawyer Michael Avenatti.

Melania can be heard saying on the bombshell tape: "If you Google, go Google and read it Annie Leibovitz shot the porn hooker, as she will be in one of the issues, September or October."

Wolkoff asks Melania: "What do you mean, she shot the 'porn hooker?'"

The first lady replies: "Stormy"

Wolkoff, who wrote the tell-all book, Melania and Me, then exclaims: "Shut the f*** up."

Melania continues: "Oh you didn't read it... It was yesterday it came out. For Vogue. She will be in Vogue. Annie Leibowitz shot her."

Wolkoff spoke on the podcast about her memoir, Melania and Me, in which she revealed stories about her time with the first lady, which have since been discredited by the White House.

She said: "When I wrote Melania and Me I knew that every word of it would be subject to potential scrutiny, so I made sure everything in the book was not only accurate, but fully provable.

"I will not sit back and allow the first Lady’s chief of staff, Stephanie Grisham, continue claiming I am a 'delusional paranoid liar,' and other similar names to discredit the veracity of Melania and Me.

"Because the White House’s false claims about my character and integrity continue, I’ve had to take all appropriate steps to defend my name, which is why I released the tapes.”
