Stacey Solomon has been left in tears after her two eldest sons had their first day back at school today.

The Loose Women panelist, 30, had been preparing for the big day all morning by sharing montages of her three boys, Zachary, 12, Leighton, eight, one-year-old Rex over the lockdown period.

She then posted a picture of Zachary and Leighton looking smart in their school uniforms as they grinned excitedly.

"All dressed and ready for the day," Stacey wrote alongside a crying emoji.

"I can feel that they're a bit nervous but I know they'll be so happy once they're in."

It was their first day back at school for six months after lockdown.

Stacey then filmed herself with tears in her eyes after dropping the boys off at school.

She said: "And they're in! Woo they're gone.

"Ah... I don't know if I'm relieved or what. It's such a weird feeling.

"I'm going to make myself a cup of tea and drown my sorrows."

The mum-of-three captioned the video: "And they're in! I feel sad but also so relieved it's such a weird feeling!"

In the next video she sent her love to mums and dads who had been on their own during lockdown and are sending their kids back to school today.

She said: "Oh my god, you're amazing, I don't know how you did it.

"I honestly don't know how you did it, I take my hat off to you.

"You bloody smashed it."

Stacey captioned the video: "I hope you're all OK!

"You've got this, I promise.

"For some reason I can't stop thinking about the whole of lockdown... just thinking about it all."

She added: "Single parents, people with no friends or family, people without any support, people who lost family.
