As drama rages over her fellow Sky star Kay Burnley, Jacquie Beltrao is enjoying a much deserved rest on the beach in Rio.
Jacquie seemed to be referencing her colleague's headline-grabbing breach of coronavirus rules when she posted a series of snapshots from an idyllic beach, asking fans: "Am I missing much????"
The cheeky question came as Olympic gymnast turned sports reporter shared a gallery of images of her Brazilian break, including one showing her drinking from a coconut.
She captioned the shots: "After much cloud and biblical rainfall the real Rio just showed up today - Ipanema is back in business!"
While Jacquie is enjoying her pre-Christmas holiday, Kay is also taking a break from the airwaves.
In Kay's case the veteran presenter was suddenly dropped from her regular morning slot after she admitted to breaching strict Tier 2 coronavirus rules while celebrating her 60th birthday on a night out in London.
Kay was replaced on Tuesday on her normal 7am to 10am slot, with Sky News chiefs announcing they had launched an internal investigation into her behaviour.
It is not known when she will return to airwaves, with it thought Kay will now be off air for the rest of the week, and 'unlikely' to return before 2021.
For Jacquie's part, her relaxing holiday is well deserved, after the Dublin-born presenter spent the year fighting a resurgence of the breast cancer she first developed seven years ago.
The 55-year-old revealed in June that the cancer had come back in a "more aggressive" form.
The mother-of-three later told Lorraine Kelly she found it "really hard to deal with" her illness returning.
"It was really hard to deal with at first because it was worse than last time", she said, "it was more aggressive.
"It's a grade three stage four, which means I will probably be dealing with this for all of my life."
She explained: "I thought I was losing my mind. It was a really hard thing to deal with mentally, physically I felt absolutely fine. But mentally I was out of the game.
