Sharon Osbourne says she's taken up walking after putting on 10 pounds during the coronavirus lockdown.

The former X Factor judge and wife of Ozzy Osbourne said that she's trying her best to fit some exercise into her hectic schedule after gaining the weight.

While it may not seem like too drastic an amount, with most of us gaining some weight these past few months, Sharon says it's a lot for her because of how short she is.

Speaking on Monday's episode of US show The Talk, she said: "I'm, like, 10 pounds over from what I usually am.

"And 10 pounds is a lot when you're, like, five-foot-one and a smidge."

She added: "It's, like, a lot of weight. So, I started walking yesterday. … This is it now. I've got the bug. I’m on it."

Sharon is known for being brutally honest on the show.

Just last week, she discussed how terrified she was to tell her parents, Don and Hope Arden, that she'd had an abortion at the age of 18.

She said: "I was terrified to tell my parents. Terrified.

"Especially my father. They would have been disappointed in me. I would have been a failure. My father would have just gone, oh, ballistic!"

Sharon, who has gone back to dying her hair red after embracing her natural grey for a while, was asked by co-host Sheryl Underwood how her mum had made her feel.

She confessed: "Just afraid and so alone. Just so alone. It's like the shame I brought on to this family.

"God forbid anyone should find out. I can't do this to my parents. And I didn't think of her as, 'Oh how can you say this to me? You're my mom'. I just thought, 'Oh my god, the shame I caused this family'."

Sharon went on to marry Ozzy and welcome children Aimee, 37, Kelly, 36, and Jack, 34.

Kelly has been wowing fans lately after unveiling the results of her six stone weight loss.

She recently opened up about her gastric sleeve surgery, saying she would never lie about it and that it's the best thing she's ever done.

She said: "I had surgery. I don't give a f**k what anyone has to say. I did it, I'm proud of it, they can suck s**t. I did the gastric sleeve.
