Shane Richie's son says he looks so good on I'm A Celeb because he's had work done

Former EastEnders star Shane Richie is looking rather fresh in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! and his son Shane Roche Jr. has addressed why

Shane Richie's eldest son has said his dad looks so good for his age because he's had some work done.

The former EastEnders star, 56, has been one of the biggest characters in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! since it started.

Now, Shane's eldest son Shane Roche Jr., 31, has spoken about his dad's appearance in the castle.

Speaking of his father's youthful looks, Shane Jr. told New magazine: "He looks younger than me.

"He's had a bit of work done. I don't know what it is but he's had something!"

Meanwhile, Shane Jr. also spoke about how worried he was was watching his dad take part in a snake-filled trial, noting that he "couldn't breathe" when watching it.

However, Shane Jr. revealed that his chief concern for his father was him accidentally saying the wrong thing.

Recognising that his father was a comic in the 1980s when homophobic and sexist jokes were much more commonplace.

Denying his dad carries such beliefs, he did not that he fears a "little joke" being said on the show by his Shane may get taken badly.

Shane Jr. noted: "As long as he doesn't mess it up and never works again, I'll be happy!"

The 31-year-old is Shane's eldest son from his marriage to Loose Women star Coleen Nolan, who he was married to from 1990 until their split in 1997 and divorce in 1999.

The couple are also parents to Push Baby (formerly Rixton) lead vocalist Jake Roche, 28, who also previously featured in Emmerdale in 2010 in the role of Isaac.

Shane subsequently married actress Christie Goddard in 2007 and they have three children together: Mackenzie Blue, Lolita Bell, and Romani-Skye Angel Shelley.

Following his initial success on stage and on the screen, Richie became a household name in 2002 when he was cast in the iconic EastEnders role as Alfie Moon.

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
