Selena Gomez Shows Support To Taylor Swift By Rocking Her Merch For The ‘Folklore’ Album – Check Out The Pic!

At this point, Taylor Swift’s new album titled Folklore is out much to everyone’s excitement but, even before it dropped at midnight, the superstar’s friend and fellow singer, Selena Gomez showed her some love and support by repping Taylor’s merch!

That’s right! Selena was photographed out and about wearing the brand new sweatshirt meant to go with her BFF Taylor’s new album aesthetic and she totally rocked it!

But of course, that was no surprise so people on social media focused more on the loyalty shown.

Fans were super happy to see Selena Gomez showing so much support to Taylor Swift by wearing her merch in public.

The sweatshirt has a very trendy faded grey tie-dye pattern and even features the name of the album on the front so there was no doubt the singer was repping an item from her friend’s new collection.

At the same time, only a day prior, on July 22, Selena Gomez celebrated her birthday so many think the sweatshirt might have been part of Taylor’s gift package to her, which is even more sweet seeing how proudly Selena went on to immediately wear it.

This comes after Taylor announced the surprise release of her new LP, posting only hours before that: ‘Most of the things that I planned this summer didn’t end up happening. But there is something I hadn’t planned on that DID happen. And that thing is my eight studio album Folklore. Surprise! Tonight at midnight I’ll be releasing my 8th studio album, Folklore; an entire brand new album of songs I’ve poured all of my whims, dreams, fears, and musings into.’

‘Before this year I probably would’ve overthought when to release this music at the ‘perfect’ time. But the times we’re living in keep reminding me that nothing is guaranteed. My gut is telling me that if you make something you love, you should just put it out into the world. That’s the side of uncertainty I can get on board with,’ she went on to say.
