Scarlett Moffatt has struggled with her weight while she's been in the spotlight.

She's yo-yo dieted between a size 18 to a petite size 8.

Controversy engulfed the TV presenter's SuperSlim Me DVD and work out plan.

Shockwaves went through the reality circles when Scarlett was accused of dropping to a size 8 by going to boot camp and starving herself on 700 calories a day.

After all the years in the limelight, only now Scarlett has cemented her body confidence as she urged her followers to "be kind" to themselves.

The brunette bombshell has built up two million followers on Instagram who she hopes to inspire with her messages of body confidence.

Her latest Instagram video captured the DVD star showing off her curves while she writhed around under the sunshine.

From Turkey, she told fans: "BE KIND not just to others but to yourself! This is my body my boobs my belly my legs.

"If you are like me & have ever criticised your body or missed out like not gone on a night out or to a beach or pool or cancelled an event because you felt like you looked too fat or too thin or too saggy or not perfect then STOP!"

She added: "Lets be our own best friends and not stop living our best life just because we aren't a 'perfect aesthetic' life is far too short and life would be super boring if we were all the same!

"Remember every body is a beach body."

Scarlett said she rebelled against the fitness DVD by piling on the pounds.

To lose three stone for the DVD, the star confessed she also had to cut out a lot of food she would usually eat from her diet.

Earlier this year, she admitted she had been under "a lot of pressure" and had to do "a lot of work" to get the results for the DVD.

She told Frankie Bridge's Open Mind Podcast: "I think people thought I had been walking and rambling up mountains for six months but it wasn't, I genuinely did just do those exercise [in the DVD] but obviously I had to cut out a lot of food from what I was normally eating.

"I think now that is what I want to try to say to people - 'please don't think that you can just own this DVD and then instantly you can lose that amount of weight, it is a lot of pressure and it is a lot of work'."
