Scarlett Moffatt is set to make her big primetime return later this year in a brand new celebrity singing show.
The 29-year-old reality star is being lined up to feature on a brand new show which will see celebs showcase their karaoke skills – with the results due to air on ITV2.
Scar is seen as a top priority for bosses at the new series – titled Celebrity Karaoke Club – and it would mark the former Gogglebox star’s return to primetime TV since she was dropped from Saturday Night Takeaway last year.
According to The Sun, the show will see seven celebrities battled to be crowned winner of the singing competition – which they judge themselves.
A source told the publication: “Producers are just starting to sign up celebs but are delighted with those they are making progress with.
"Scarlett in particular is lovely and really popular with viewers so they think she would be great.”
Other names being attached to the show include The Masked Singer host Joel Dommett, Capital FM host Roman Kemp, and comedian Melvin Odoom.
Scarlett was heartbroken last year when it was revealed Ant and Dec had ditched her from their popular weekend game show Saturday Night Takeaway.
The Geordie lass had been a co-host of the series since 2017, but was unceremoniously axed from the line-up last November.
A source told The Mirror at the time: "Scarlett Moffatt won’t feature in the new series but she’s not being replaced. It will be just Ant and Dec and Stephen Mulhern who will return to host Ant vs Dec."
While Scarlett herself had described being added to the hosting line-up back in 2017 as “an absolute dream.”
Earlier this month, Scarlett expressed fears her career could dry up after she lost her prestigious gig on Saturday Night Takeaway.
She told the How To Fail podcast: “I sort of have imposter syndrome, and I think when is this all going to end, when are they going to realise that I'm not a proper TV presenter.
