Sam Smith clearly doesn’t have Money on their Mind as they splash out on a pub at their country home.
The superstar is converting a barn on the property into a pub called The Fat Fairy, complete with a 2ft-tall stuffed Ewok.
Sam says: “I know it’s not really a pub, it’s a little barn. But I was like, ‘What do we call it?’
“My sister wanted to call it The Tadpole, which I think is a fabulous name for a bar.
“But I just think The Fat Fairy beat that.”

The Buckinghamshire pile has a barn with turtles, flamingos and even a sloth named Keith – as well as the singer’s year-old Bernedoodle, Velma.
Inside The Fat Fairy is a pool table, a crystal chandelier tree-shaped lamps – and the cuddly Star Wars toy.
Sam quit drinking in 2018 but told Billboard they plan on getting a working beer tap and wood flooring, just like “a proper pub”.
They say that after working in London during the week – where they have a £12million home in Hampstead – it is nice for them to have “my own private queer club in the middle of the countryside”.
They also have another shed kitted out as a recording studio. Imagine the house parties…
While Sir Ian McKellen, David Beckham and Guy Ritchie all own pubs, Ed Sheeran is the only other star with a boozer in his back garden. The Bad Habits singer apparently built his so he could enjoy a pint with his pals without getting mobbed.
