Rylan Clark-Neal devastated as Big Brother’s Bit On The Side regular dies

Rylan Clark-Neal has been left devastated to hear one of the regular attendees of his old show Big Brother ’s Bit On The Side has passed away.

The 31-year-old singer and television host was saddened to discover on Saturday that Karen Cummings had passed away at the age of 47.

Rylan took to social media on Saturday to share an image of Karen along with the dates of her life, 22 April 1973 - 20 July 2020.

Karen’s cause of death was not revealed, but the Big Brother host paid tribute to his friend who had joined him in the audience of his long running spin-off show.

Rylan wrote: "Just been informed of some very sad news. Our #BBBOTS audience regular lovely Karen has sadly passed away.

"She was an amazing lady we spent many shows with and I’m gutted to hear this news, sending all my love to Nicola and the family. Rest in Peace beautiful xx."

Followers of the star – who found fame on The X Factor back in 2012 – took to his comment's section to share their disbelief and sadness over the death of Rylan.

One follower commented: "I remember her and her sister Nicole always in the audience, sad news."

Another commented: "So sad so young" alongside a number of praying hands emojis.

While a further follower wrote: "rip Karen sending your family lots of love".

Rylan hosted Big Brother’s Bit On The Side for five years between 2013 and 2018.

During his stint on the show, he would be joined by a live studio audience who he would invite into discussions and debates about the latest episodes of the main Big Brother show.
