Ruth Langsford told colleague who pinched her bum ‘I’ll break your f*****g arm’

Ruth Langsford warned a male colleague who pinched her bum with the words, "I'll break your f***ing arm".

The This Morning host, 60, has been discussing sexism in the workplace.

Candid Ruth opened up about her personal experience from her youth to fellow presenter Kate Thornton on her White Wine Question Time podcast.

The subject soon turned to sexual harassment and the star was about to shock her fans.

Ruth admitted she vowed to break the arm of a male she was working with when she was younger while she was on set.

She was carrying a tray of tea on set just moments before the colleague touched her inappropriately.

Brave Ruth told Kate how she refused to let the male get away with it.

She recalled: "I remember years ago when I had to take these big trays of tea around at certain times in the day for the VT engineers. It was all men.

"For some reason it was deemed to be my job as a woman. I remember taking this tray round and a guy pinched my a**.

"I put the tray down, I slapped his tea down, and said: 'If you ever touch me again, I'll break your f***ing arm.''

Ruth also shared her thoughts on how woman aren't still totally aren't equal in the workplace.

The telly veteran added: "You'd never call a man bossy.

"I mean if you were a guy and the editor of a magazine, they'd go 'he's so dynamic and young and amazing'.

"Why is it like: 'She's really bossy and annoying.' I think women have had to fight that and to some extent, still do. It will keep changing."

It comes after Ruth shared she always defends her husband Eamonn against trolls making “vile” comments about him.

She told Woman Magazine: “I love Instagram. I stalk people as much as the next person.

“I get such amazing messages and the odd troll who I just ignore.
