Ruth Langsford sent pulses racing with her glamorous throwback video from her early TV career.

This Morning presenter Ruth, 60, was left red-faced over a clip from her days as a continuity announcer, thought to be from the early 1980s.

She was informing the public what they had coming up on the TV, including the news.

Rocking a bright orange blazer, Ruth's hair looked completely unrecognisable as she donned a quirky fringe with her hair much longer than it is today.

Wearing statement gold earrings, it's clear Ruth has always been a fashionista at heart.

Sharing the clip with her 641k Twitter followers, the presenter - who is married to This Morning co-host Eamonn Holmes - called herself "posh" as she watched back the clip.

She wrote: "This is my posh twin back in her Continuity Presenter days at Television South West....just one of the clips that the team @loosewomen have unearthed for my Life Before Loose show today....dread to think what else they've found!

"Tune in to @itv at 12.30 to find out!!"

Naturally, the clip had fans flock to the comments section to share their thoughts on Ruth's striking appearance.

One fan wrote: "You're still posh totty now lass, you've hardly changed a bit...apart from the 80s hairdo obvs. x"

Another penned: "Beautiful then, and time has made that beauty blossom even more. X"

A third added: "Always a beauty!"

While a fourth agreed, adding: "Stunning!"

It comes as her husband Eamonn's throwback recently resurfaced on social media, showing the telly presenter at the age of 19.

Eamonn had thick, dark hair, and looked super young as he reported on the latest court news before handing over to the news desk.

He sounded completely different too, with Ruth confessing: "You're gorgeous, I love it."
