Release Date For ‘Fifth And Final’ Edition Of Call Of Duty: Warzone

The start of Call of Duty: Warzone’s fifth and final season has been confirmed by Activision for August 24. This suggests that Warzone 2 may soon be available.

The final season of the game, dubbed Last Stand and featuring a league of Call of Duty baddies headed by Raul Menendez from Black Ops 2, was revealed on the game’s website. Khaled Al-Asad from the first Modern Warfare, Gabriel T. Rorke from Ghosts, and He “Seraph” Zhen-Zhen from Black Ops 3 also appear in the game.

This final season of Warzone will probably expire in November because Call of Duty seasons, which take place concurrently in Vanguard and Warzone, normally run two to three months. The start of Call of Duty: Warzone’s fifth and final season has been confirmed by Activision for August 24. This suggests that Warzone 2 may soon be available.

When Modern Warfare 2 debuts on October 28, this aligns with Warzone’s conclusion date in November and, likely, Warzone 2’s premiere date. Black Ops: Cold War’s final season lasted for roughly a month after Vanguard’s launch.

Naturally, nothing has been verified, but just this week, there were rumors that the film might be out in November. But, since Warzone 2 will be included in the Call of Duty: Next showcase on September 15, along with other titles that are “the immediate future of Call of Duty,” an official announcement shouldn’t be too far off.

Because the Battle Royale prequel was unveiled in February, Activision has said very little about it, only stating in April that Warzone 2 “includes new advances” and would be officially revealed this year.

In a previous post, Modern Warfare 2 will be launched on October 28, according to a brand-new Tweet from the authorized Call of Duty Twitter account. A few of the protagonists and perhaps the album artwork for the future sequel were also hinted at in the outrageous short clip.
