Reese Witherspoon is open to running for political office in the USA.
The actress, 44, hinted at her political ambitions on Monday's episode of the SmartLess podcast with hosts Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes.
Legally Blonde star Reese shared that she "wouldn't say never" to putting herself forward for a role with the US government after the trio of presenters told that they would vote for her.
The producer said: "I wouldn't say never, because I don't know where I'm going to be when I'm, you know, 65."
Slamming the current administration - headed up by President Donald Trump - she added: "I think we need better representation and balance."
"Women are 50 percent of the population, but we're not 50 percent of the representation in government, which is bizarre, particularly when they're adjudicating over our bodies."
The mother-of-three continued: "And the lack of representation of people of color, who make up a large, almost majority of this country. What about balance, you know? Just yin and yang. Male, female balance."
A week ago, Reese took to Instagram to announce that she had sent off her vote via post ahead of the US election.
Urging her followers to follow suit, she typed: "I did it! Did you? Feels good to exercise my right to VOTE.
"I like to think that ray of light coming through the trees is ALL of the women who came before me who did not have this fundamental right.
"Ok ... 18 days until the election! Have you sent your ballots in?? Text me a photo of your "I Voted" stickers! 615-235-5390."
