The iconic cast of the Legally Blonde franchise have reunited after 20 years and Reese Witherspoon was unable to contain her emotions.
The box-office flick, which hit cinemas in 2001, is noted as one of Reese’s most memorable movie roles to date after her lovable character Elle Woods catapulted her to global fame.
Now 20 years after its release date, the Hollywood actress was reunited with her beloved cast members for a pre-recorded virtual get-together on Instagram.
Taking to her own page, the 44-year-old treated her 24.4 million followers to throwback video of the iconic nineties movie which featured stars including Luke Wilson, Selma Blair and Jennifer Coolidge.
“Ohmigod you guys. It’s a Legally Blonde Reunion” she captioned the video which has already raked up a whopping one million likes.
She continued: “We laughed, we cried and we may or may not have done the bend & snap for old times' sake!
“For the first time in 20 years, join me and the #LegallyBlonde cast tomorrow at 3:15PM PST on the @hellosunshine YouTube channel! PS: Don’t you want to see if Elle & Warner finally make up?”
Unable to hide her excitement, Reese appeared overjoyed and giddy in the snippet which showcased a sneak peek of the legendary reunion.
Within minutes after posting the exciting announcement to her Instagram account, the blonde beauty was showered with love and support from her famous friends and fans alike.

Meanwhile, Amanda Kloots remarked, “Omg I cannot wait!”

The epic reunion comes shortly after screenwriter Mindy Kaling revealed she’s currently writing Legally Blonde 3.
Reese is set to return to her original role which will see Elle Woods 20 years down the line.
