Rebekah Vardy has the perfect plan to skate her way in to Dancing On Ice without any threat to her marriage be the alleged ‘curse’.
The 38-year-old WAG has been married to football star Jamie Vardy, 33, since 2016 and is devoted to him and their five children.
While she is looking forward to Dancing On Ice, it seems Becky is keen to avoid even the slightest speculation that she might be tempted to run off with her skate partner – as the ITV show has a ‘curse’ to rival that of marriage wrecking BBC classic, Strictly Come Dancing.
And so Rebekah is petitioning to be partnered with one of Dancing On Ice’s gay skate professionals in order to avoid any speculation or wicked whispers.
And it seems she wants to skate with openly gay professional Matt Evers in particular.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Becky loves Matt.
"He’s one of the most famous skaters on the show and he’s gay, which means she can spend all her time training and on routines without being linked to him romantically.
“She’s really happy in her relationship with Jamie and doesn’t want anything to rock the boat.”
The source goes on to suggest Rebekah also thinks she can win the show if paired with Matt.
Dancing On Ice is due to air early in 2021 but the star line up of the thirteenth season has already been revealed.
Rebekah is to be joined by TOWIE star Billie Faiers, Olympian Colin Jackson, presenter Denise van Outen, ex-Corrie star Faye Brooke, and sportsman Graham Bell on the ice.
Aussie soap legend Jason Donovan, Emmerdale star Joe-Warren Plant, rapper Lady Leshurr, presenter Myleene Klass and X Factor star-turned-radio host Sonny Jay complete the lineup.
Like Strictly, Dancing On Ice is considered to have something of a curse as many contestants find themselves unable to resist falling for their dance partners after spending weeks of intimate performances.
