Television baker Candice Brown has confirmed the end of her marriage to husband Liam Macaulay.
The winner of The Great British Bake Off 2016 series, 35, has been married to tree surgeon Luke since 2018 and the pair renewed their wedding vows last year in Thailand.
Her agent revealed to The Mirror: "I can confirm Candice and Liam separated earlier this year."
Days prior to the confirmation, Candice had posted a photo of online of herself at a restaurant launch, and she was apparently not sporting her wedding ring.
At the time of their vow renewal in 2019, Candice noted: "We were tested quite early on in our relationship, and he didn't budge then.
"I wasn't very well, and following that I struggled with some mental health issues.
"It’s not something I really talk about... but Liam stayed by my side and that has always stuck with me."
Liam has now moved out of the flat above The Green Man pub in Eversholt, Milton Keynes where the pair lived together, reportedly to Bedfordshire.
Candice had said last year: "I love it. We've made it cosy and our own."
News of the split comes following Candice discussing her mental health struggles in more detail than ever before.
Speaking to The Sun in December, a tearful Candice revealed: "I suffer with clinical depression, chronic phobia and PTSD.
"It's hard and people don’t realise, it's a real battle. People might be like, 'Oh she's jumping on the bandwagon', but they've got no idea what has been going on in my brain for the past five or six years."
The 2016 winner also disclosed how husband Liam had also contended with her struggling sleep patterns.
She told the paper: "I have trouble sleeping, my poor husband."
Meanwhile, Candice recently hit out at no-show diners in restaurants despite booking tables without a deposit when she spoke on ITV breakfast show Good Morning Britain.
She said "If we had 20 people not turn up, we would have no business.
"We fought hard to keep our business running."
