Ray Quinn has left his fans gobsmacked with an unearthed photograph from his time on Brookside.
Before he shot to fame on the X Factor in 2006, Ray played the troublesome Anthony Murray on the Channel 4 soap opera.
Proving that he had serious acting talent, the star was swept up in bullying storylines and a mysterious murder before he departed the show after three years.
Although the 31-year-old reached public recognition after his X Factor stint, many fans don't know he was once a telly star.
The snap showed his character Anthony Murray sporting a school uniform.
In the caption Ray said he loved working on the hit soap series.
Ray penned: "#TBT to my Brookie days!"
"I have such great memories of my time there. Can you guess what year this was?"
Since shooting to international fame on Simon Cowell's talent show, the Merseyside native has returned to his acting ways.
He dusted off his acting skills when he joined Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks as character Jonny Baxter in 2018.
Just one year later though, he departed the show when a storyline surrounding right wing politics meant the end for his character.
Ray ppeared on Dancing On Ice in 2009 and walked away with the winning title after beating Liberty X's Jessica Taylor to the trophy.
He is now focusing on his music career again, after releasing a brand new album in February.
The actor recently got engaged to girlfriend Emily Ashleigh after the pair met in a bar in 2017.
