Gigi Hadid is glowing her way through pregnancy as she was papped arriving in New York with her beau Zayn Malik not long before her baby is due.

The supermodel, 25, had fans in meltdown as she made a public appearance for the first time in months after announcing she's pregnant.

She smiled away in the passenger seat of a car alongside Zayn, 27, as they drove into the city.

Her rare public outing in the city suggests she's set to give birth in the Big Apple.

Gigi looked content as her security guard safely took the pair to their destination, with the star looking effortlessly chic while relaxing in the back of the car.

Makeup-free Gigi slicked her hair back into a stylish ponytail and went for a natural look.

She was glued to her phone during the car journey, but kept her baby bump hidden.

The couple's rare appearance comes after Gigi revealed she was expecting on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show.

Since then, she has kept her pregnancy incredibly private.

It's not confirmed when Gigi and Zayn's baby is due, but fans have gone wild on Twitter after their trip to New York.

The phrase "Zigi" is trending on the social media app.

One excitedly penned: "ZAYN IS GONNA BE A DAD ANY DAY NOW LET THAT SINK IN MINI ZIGI I AM NOT FINE."

A second shared: "Cant wait to see zigi's daughter to become a singer or model too or f**king BOTH."

"Zigi are really about to become parents. this is real omg," a third couldn't believe.

In recent weeks, the mum-to-be was forced to hit back at trolls who accused the star of "disguising" her blooming baby bump.

She also opened up on the reason she is keeping her pregnancy so private.

Gigi said on Instagram : "I'm so grateful for the positive comments and the questions, and wanting to know we’re all good and safe.

"Everything going is great and I love you guys. I do appreciate those positive comments. A lot of people are confused by why I am not sharing more but I am pregnant through a pandemic.

"Obviously my pregnancy is not the most important thing going on in the world. That's the reason I've felt it's not something I need to share, apart from with my family and friends.

"Obviously a lot of people have lost lives due to coronavirus – that was in the beginning of quarantine and it's still happening.

"And then we moved into the re-emergence of the BLM movement and I thought that our presence on social media should be used for that."
