Chrissy Teigen has shared a positive health update after being hospitalised during her high-risk pregnancy.
The American model, 34, who is expecting her third child with husband John Legend, told her fans on Sunday night she'd been rushed to hospital following a month of bleeding.
Chrissy had already been put on strict bed rest, as per her doctors orders, however over the weekend, she was forced to check into the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after her bleeding worsened.
Thankfully, all seems to be well with mother and baby now as the expectant mum took to her Instagram Stories on Monday evening to share a positive update.
The brunette beauty revealed that while in hospital, she underwent two blood transfusions, but assured her adoring admirers that her brave little boy is ‘completely fine’.
Chrissy insisted: “Hello from hospital. I’m about to have my second blood transfusion which truly truly truly sounds more dramatic than it is.
“It’s an IV, but instead of fluids, the blood of some kind human being out there.”
She continued: “Baby and I are completely fine, I’m just missing the little things like walking...cooking...playing with the other buttbutts.”
Earlier this week, the television personality explained her condition and begged her 31.3 million followers not to try and diagnose her with their own thoughts on the matter.
From her hospital bed, she explained: “We all know I've been on bed rest for a few weeks and that's like super-serious bed rest.
“I get up to pee and take baths twice a week, no showering, just as little as possible.
“But I was always, always bleeding. I'm about halfway through pregnancy and the blood has been going on for about a month, maybe a little bit less than a month.
“We're talking about more than your period girls, it's definitely not spotting. A lot of people spot but it's usually fine. Mine was a lot.
“Every time I go to the bathroom it would be blood, and honestly just laying there there would be blood.”
Chrissy’s hospitalisation comes just days after shared the first glimpse of her baby boy with a 3D scan.
Posting the wholesome snap to her Instagram Stories, Chrissy described her son as her ‘sweet strong baby boy’.
Chrissy and John sent the showbiz world into mania when they decided to drop their baby bombshell through a music video back in August.
