While most people turn to ice after spraining their ankle, Piers Morgan does things a little differently.
On the second day of his St Tropez getaway, the Good Morning Britain host opted for beer to help ease the pain of his injury.
Piers, 55, managed to tear a tendon in his leg - but hasn't let the pain ruin any part of his holiday with wife Celia, his daughter and sons.
Taking to Instagram, Piers shared a snap of the medication he opted for to help him overcome the pain.
Snapping the pint of beer in his hand while he rests his injured right foot on a seat in front of him, Piers wrote: "Sprained foot update: medicine kicking in nicely," referring to the cold pint he was relaxing with.
The nasty ordeal has left the outspoken telly host in crutches.
But it seems as though it wasn't enough to put a damper on the holiday itself.
It comes as Piers was warned by GMB co-stars Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway that he might not be able to return to work immediately when he comes back from France.
Piers and co-host Susanna Reid often take time off during July and August and are covered by Kate and Ben.
However, Piers might have a tricky time in returning back to the studio if the quarantine rules extend to France.
Earlier this week, the presenters were discussing the recent changes in the rules for anyone returning from Spain, including the Balaeric and Canary Islands.
We recently revealed that a government minister has warned that more countries could have quarantine restrictions imposed on returning travellers.
It comes as Belgium, Luxembourg and Croatia could be at risk of being removed from the 'air bridge' list following a spike in coronavirus infections.
This prompted Kate to jokingly point out that Piers may need to self-isolate for two weeks if France is included in the list.
Kate questioned: "Isn't Piers Morgan in France? Imagine [France] has to quarantine and he can't come back on air for an extra to two weeks?"
“Sadly, that might be a reason to put it on the list," Ben joked. "...Some would say."
