Piers Morgan says he's currently "in talks" for a Britain's Got Talent return.
The controversial TV host, 55, could be brought in to save the show as the ratings have been falling in recent series.
And his reasons for making a potential comeback are twofold; he claims that the show needs him, and he wants to purchase another Aston Martin.
Appearing on Heart Radio's breakfast show this morning, Piers chatted to current BGT judge Amanda Holden about the prospect of returning to the judging panel.
Quizzing the Good Morning Britain presenter on recent rumours, she asked: "So talk to us about what the paper is saying today, have you been approached by TV executives?"
Piers responded: "Well look it's pretty obvious that the golden hour of Britain's Got Talent was when I was a judge with you and Simon, when we got 20 million viewers for one final, obviously it's not quite as strong as this year..."
Amanda chimed in: "That's because Netflix was invented."
Not convinced Netflix is the culprit behind low ratings, Piers added: "There's something driven by the media that it needs a bit of spice back in the pot, of course it doesn't get spicier than me.
"Let's see what happens, I've had conversations…"
Amanda then went on to reference the flood of Ofcom complaints the series has received this year, many of which have been about her risqué frock choices.
"Well we don’t need any more Ofcom complaints that’s all I’m going to say!"
Admitting that he's eyeing up a brand new ride, Piers said: "If there’s enough Aston Martins in it, I'll start Monday!"
Britain's Got Talent ratings plummeted from last year's 10.1 million to 6.5 million this year.
Viewing numbers suffered a major blow as they sank from last year's 10.1 million to a low of 6.5 million this year, reports The Sun.
This series alone racked up a whopping 28,000 Ofcom complaints after viewers were left outraged at the judge's racy frocks and Diversity 's Black Lives Matter -inspired routine.
The dance group's routine triggered thousands of complaints alone, making it the most moaned-about moment of the series by far.
That, teamed with Amanda's outfit choices as well as some controversial auditions secured BGT a spot in the history books.
The hit ITV series - fronted by Ant and Dec - has received a total of 27,898 official Ofcom complaints this year.
