Piers Morgan is drowning his sorrows in a crisp pint from his local pub in Kensington.
The Good Morning Britain host, 55, admitted to downing his first pint from The Scarsdale Tavern in five months - just days after he and his wife Celia Walden were burgled while they slept in their French villa.
Taking to Instagram to post his first snap since the horrific ordeal, Piers looked chuffed as he sipped on a beer after jetting back home from his French getaway.
Sharing the snap with his 1.2 million followers, the father-of-four penned: "First @scarsdalew8 pint in 5 months. Great to be back."
It comes as shameless thieves invaded Piers and Celia's hotel room on holiday while the pair were sleeping.
Celia announced the news that the family had been burgled on the last night of their holiday.
Writing for the Daily Telegraph, Celia called the thieves "depraved and despicable" for taking cash and jewellery from their holiday home.
She made a terrifying discovery that the burglars had crept into the couple's bedroom while they slept to steal stole money from her handbag.
Celia also lost jewellery including a precious ring which her husband had given to her to mark their fifth wedding anniversary.
The writer admitted she felt sickened to think the thieves had been in her bedroom while she and her husband slept.
The thieves made off with the money in her purse but left her credit cards and driver's licence.
She added: "I felt a stomach-plummeting sense of violation at the actions of these depraved and despicable inhuman beings."
The police told her that the burglars had left only 15 minutes before she had woken up after they heard her snooze the alarm.
Celia said she had woken up at 6:15am on the last day of the holiday after the couple spent the night before packing up their things to return home.
She discovered her handbag on the sofa and her jewellery box lying empty beside it.
Police said the thieves had only just left as they dashed out of the villa after hearing her wake up.
Celia said: "But then I remembered something that made me feel sick: the up-turned handbag found in the sitting room had originally been on a chair in our bedroom.
"They must have crept in there and stood inches away from us while we slept."
Piers and Celia enjoyed a holiday in the South of France with their eight-year-old daughter Elise and his three sons, Spencer, 27, Stanley, 23, and 19-year-old Bertie.
