Petition Calling For Tory Lanez’s Deportation Gathers 16,000+ Signatures

A lot of people aren’t happy with Tory Lanez. In fact, a recent report from Vibe says approximately 16,000 people are so displeased with the Toronto rapper that they would rather see him deported out of the United States back to his native Canada.

Vibe picked up on the petition today in which 16,000 people and counting asked for the US government to deport Tory and ban him from the country for life. As most know by now, Tory reportedly shot Megan Thee Stallion in the foot earlier this month.

Internet users first created the petition on Change’s website a few weeks back, and it has since accrued over 16,000 people. The petition isn’t worded in the best way either, referring to Lanez as a “5’3″ little man with a big ego.”

It also accuses the rapper of “contributing nothing to the American economy,” and also promoting hateful actions and violence against women. The petition goes on to say that he should be banned for trying to hurt Megan Thee Stallion.

According to Vibe, the petition now has 16,450 people on it, and the goal is 25,000. As it was previously reported, Megan Thee Stallion touched on the controversy once again on the 27th of July, Monday. The rapper took to her social media and cried about what happened to her.

She says she was shot in both of her feet, but never named Tory Lanez as the perpetrator. Followers of the reports know Tory is considered as the suspect at the moment, however, there haven’t been any official charges laid against him yet, other than gun possession charges.

Put simply, it’s still not entirely clear if it was really Tory Lanez who shot Megan Thee Stallion in the feet. Either way, Megan’s emotional video had many people feeling bad about their mockery and jokes, including 50 Cent, who even apologized for it on his IG.

The rapper said on his account that it was “so crazy” that he didn’t even believe the rumors. 50 says he didn’t think it was even real. Curtis Jackson – also known as 50 Cent – claims he never would’ve posted the meme had he known she was “really hurt.”
