Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy's mansion 'flooded with £80K worth of damage'

Former England football player Peter Crouch and wife Abbey Clancy have reportedly faced thousands of pounds worth of damage to their £3million Surrey home

Ex-England footballer Peter Crouch and wife Abbey Clancy's mansion has been flooded with during lockdown.

It is reported that the £3million Surrey house has sustained thousands of pounds worth of damage as a result of the flooding.

According to The Sun, Peter was speaking to the Lockdown Parenting Hell podcast when he said: "We had a flood during lockdown and it took out one of the bedrooms.

"It’s an official flood. We had the flood and one of the bedrooms is out of action.

"We had to sort of jiggle things around so hopefully when the bedroom is back in action we’ll get the boys back in there together."

The newspaper reports that there was £80,000 worth of damage to the bedroom of one of his children, which is still being repaired by builders.

Mirror Online has reached out to representatives of Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy for comment.

39-year-old Peter and 34-year-old model Abbey have been married since 2011, having begun dating in 2006.

They have three children together: Sophia Ruby Crouch, nine, Liberty Rose Crouch, five, and one-year-old Jack.

Abbey has previously revealed the secret to hers and Peter's successful marriage.

She said: “He does nice surprises, but there’s always something a little bit wrong with them.

“Like he got me a ring engraved for our wedding anniversary but put the wrong date on it. But that’s Pete and he definitely tries.

“One reason Pete and I work so well together is that every day we have a laugh. Obviously we have our little bickers like anyone else, but we always have a laugh.”

Earlier this year, Peter also revealed that he wants to win dog competition Crufts after a comment from wife Abbey.

“We couldn’t get into Crufts last time so we’re trying to train this bad boy up,” the Striker announced on his podcast That Peter Crouch Podcast.

“He doesn’t like to fail at anything. So after the whole Crufts episode he said, ‘I’m gonna train a dog then I’m gonna enter it into Crufts’,” Abbey said.

Well, we are sure Peter can do it if he put his mind to it!
