Peter Andre and his eldest children have pledged to spend more time together as a family after the coronavirus lockdown brought them closer together.
The Mysterious Girl hit-maker, 47, became a stay-at-home dad after the killer bug swept the UK back in March.
While his wife Emily fought on the frontline as a doctor, pop star Pete stayed home to care for his eldest two children, Junior, 15, and Princess, 13, along with the couple’s kids Theo and Amelia.
Now the Aussie singer, who is adapting a more meat-free diet, has insisted that his family will continue to make the effort to spend more time together after spending 24/7 with his youngsters for weeks on end during lockdown.
In a new video campaign for Quorn, Peter reflects with Junior and Princess about what they have learnt during the last few whirlwind months and all three make their pledges to each other: to eat more meat free meals, spend more time together and Peter telling less Dad jokes.
While the trio showcased their culinary skills, Peter admitted: “During the last few months, I’m sure we’re not the only family who have made changes to our everyday lives.
“As well as creating a lifetime of special memories, we’ve also adopted new habits and new routines.
"On the surface, these may seem quite small, however they have actually had a big impact on us, which is why we were eager to make these pledges so we can continue with our positive steps even as life gets busier.
“Eating meat-free at least once a week is an example of a small positive thing we already do and trust me when I say it’s much yummier nowadays than it was when I was a kid!”.
It comes after Pete recently announced the second series of Life with the Andres is returning to screens this Sunday.
Taking to social media, the YouTube star delighted his 1.5million fans, when he confirmed the mini-series is returning for round two.
Speaking in a teaser clip, he shared: "We're back again but this time for series two. Life with the Andres, this Sunday. We made series one a success. Let's do it again."
