Peter Andre stunned to learn Britain has sandy beaches on first Cornwall staycation
Peter Andre has admitted he didn't know that Britain has sandy beaches as he enjoyed the beautiful shores of Newquay
Peter Andre is on his first ever Cornwall staycation and is pleasantly surprised at what he's found.
The Mysterious Girl singer, 47, has admitted he didn't know that Britain has sandy beaches as he enjoyed the beautiful shores of Newquay.
Writing in his new! magazine column, Peter said he thought all beaches in this country were pebbly, despite living here for most of his life.
He is currently on a mini-break with his wife Emily MacDonagh and their two children, Amelia, six, and Theo, three.
Peter wrote: ""We've been to the seaside with the kids and I was shocked to find there are sandy beaches down here.
"I thought there were only pebble beaches in the UK, which is crazy as I've lived here half my life."
Pete added: "We've been on bike rides and doing lots of home cooking in our amazing villa.
"It's been a really fantastic staycation and the kids have loved it."
Peter shared a picture of himself catching a crab with the beautiful blue sea behind him.
In another snap Emily sat on a pebbly beach with Theo, proving they have still seen them on their travels.
The dad-of-four also posted one of Theo queuing up at a food kiosk in his wesuit.
"My little surfer," Peter captioned the post.
Theo and his big sister Amelia have been on holiday with Emily and Peter.
