Perez Hilton Has Been Blacklisted From Howard Stern And He Doesn’t Know Why

According to Perez Hilton, he was blackballed from The Howard Stern Show but he doesn’t know the reason. Page Six picked up comments from Perez Hilton regarding his new book, TMI: My Life in Scandal, in which he reflected on his career as one of the most hated men in the entertainment industry.

Perez has fostered a career for his salacious reporting on celebrities and other entertainment industry figures, however, he has made his fair share of enemies over the last few years.

Mario Armando Lavandeira Junior, who goes by the name, Perez Hilton, claimed that he tried to get on the show to promote his new book but they denied his request. Hilton says his team contacted The Howard Stern Show well in advance before his book came out, but they told him they were no availabilities.

According to Page Six, Perez has been on The Howard Stern Show before, including when he participated in “Prostate Karaoke” which featured him singing a Christmas song while a doctor performed a prostate exam on him in 2017.

Additionally, Perez hung out with one of Stern’s writers, Benjy Bronk, in an NC-17-rated affair which he talked about in his new book. However, things have changed since then, and in 2018, Perez started to notice he wasn’t able to get back on the show.

Perez says he has been trying to get back on The Howard Stern Show for a while, and tragically, he even has an entire chapter devoted to Stern in his new memoir. The entertainment blogger says that he was “truly saddened,” and it hurts to see the relationship sullied.

According to Hilton, he doesn’t know what led to his banning from the program, but not knowing why and constantly getting the availability excuse is hurtful and “complete f*cking bulls**t.” Howard Stern and his team reportedly haven’t responded for a comment.

In case you missed it, Perez just dropped a new memoir in which he reflected on his career as a gossip blogger. Perez admits he’s trying to turn over a new leaf.
