Patricia Cornwell: I don't know how to write a female character who is not strong
Best-selling author of the Kay Scarpetta series says strong characters are "just what comes out of (her) naturally" and what she's seen in real-life women in the law enforcement fields she writes about in her books. Cornwell is out with her 21st installment about Scarpetta called "Dust."
