Singer Aimee Osbourne has said she has no regrets about not appearing on her family's MTV show The Osbournes.
Her siblings Kelly and Jack Osbourne appeared prominently on the reality show with their parents: Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne and his X Factor judge wife Sharon Osbourne.
Now 36-year-old musician Aimee has spoken out on her decision to not appear on the series, which made her siblings household names.
She told New York's Q104.3 Classic Rock that she valued her privacy and did not want to be "typecast" by the media.
Aimee explained: "For me personally, and for who I am, you know, as far as morally and also just to give myself a chance to actually develop into a human being as opposed to just being remembered for being a teenager.
"It didn't really line up with what I saw my future as."
She is now part of band Aro and is busy promoting her single Shared Something With The Night.
Now the less-seen Osbourne sister has given insight into her growing up in the family.
The singer added: "I was a real kind of loner in my teens. I would sit in my room for hours with my disco ball light, listening to all my favourite bands and just kind of, you know, creating this kind of inner world in my head to all these incredible songs and artists."
Aimee noted that she was not your typical teenager with her music choices, too.
"I liked stuff a little bit more avant-garde and ethereal, a little darker, grittier," she explained.
Earlier this month, Ozzy spoke about his recent spinal surgery in more detail.
Speaking to SiriusXM, Ozzy said: "I'm not back to 100 percent. I'm about 75 percent there, but it's such a slow recovery.
"Spine surgery is bad news, man. I've been in such a bad state with pain; I'm still having a lot of pain."
