Olly Murs is banned from Mark Wright's house for Christmas this year.
The Voice UK coach had the sulks as he arrived at the former TOWIE star's house to have a catch-up and a drink, but was not allowed in due to the coronavirus tier rules.
In a hilarious video shared on Olly's Instagram, Mark jokingly wouldn't let his close pal into his luxury home as Essex is currently in Tier 2.
The video he shared was very similar to Gavin and Stacey's special Christmas episode from last year, as they played Elton John's iconic Step Into Christmas tune over the top.
"Mursy!" Mark shouted, as his mate delightfully responded: "Wrighty!"
Issuing a strict warning, Mark said: "Two metres and all that, Merry Christmas."
Olly said: "I've brought the beers round," as the husband of Michelle Keegan laughed: "Get in! You can keep the Corona mate, know what I'm saying, I'll have the Heineken. Washed your hands, I hope?"
The singer told him "don't worry" as they opened their beers from either side of the huge front door.
"Does that mean Wrighty you're asking me to... 'step in'?" Olly asked him as the music started playing.
But it was abruptly cut off as Mark replied: "Not this year mate, come on."
Olly said: "But Boris says you can have three people from different households at Christmas, so I've picked you."
With an awkward response, Mark shared: "Yeah but I haven't managed to pick you, I've got a big family mate."
Lonely This Christmas began playing in the background as a heartbroken Olly says: "Yeah I just thought... maybe you'd pick me."
Mark sadly replied: "I love you, you know that, but there's a light at the end of the tunnel, next year there'll be none of this, and we'll all be together at Christmas."
Olly then starts to walk away, and says: "Have a lovely Christmas, give love to the family."
Mark captioned the video on his Instagram: "Well…. that was awkward !! Here's to 2021 @ollymurs we will be sweet then, thanks for the beers though son merry Christmas P.s you will always be my Smithy, Mursy."
Over on Olly's Instagram, he wrote: "I won’t lie to you” I thought I was having a “tidy” Xmas at Wrighty’s …… this year #not #occuring."
