Rebekah Vardy 'disappointed' by Wagatha Christie verdict
Nicola McLean has said she 'believes' her pal Rebekah Vardy didn’t leak stories to the press after supporting her throughout the Wagatha Christie trial.
Former glamour model Nicola, 40, has been a staunch defender of Vardy since Coleen Rooney accused the WAG's Instagram account of regularly passing information to the press.
And now Nicola, 40, has told how she believes her friend is innocent in a defiant post on her Instagram.
The mum-of-four was asked by one of her 257k followers in a question and answer session: “Do you still believe Rebekah didn’t leak stories??”
Nicola replied: “I stand by Becky all the way.”

Last week, Nicola revealed she had invited Becky to be bridesmaid at her vow renewal, 14 years after she married former Queens Park Rangers and West Ham footballer Tom Williams in 2009.
Last month, Mrs Justice Steyn ruled in favour of Coleen Rooney in the libel case and said Rebekah Vardy "knew of and condoned this behaviour" of her agent Caroline Watt passing information about her fellow WAG to the press.
Discussing the outcome of the explosive trial on Monday's Good Morning Britain, hosts Kate Garraway and Richard Madeley invited pal Nicola onto the ITV show to comment on Rebekah's next move.
Richard began: "I think possibly the reason there's a bit of a backlash about this plan for Rebekah to make money off the back of this... it's almost a moral argument.

"The thing is, the judge in this case basically said that she'd lied off her face. There's a sense that there's something wrong with her being able to make a lot of money off the back of telling porkies?"
Speaking live from Cyprus, Nicola said: "Okay, well Becky has come out hasn't she and said she disagrees with what the judge has said, so that's for her... I wasn't there, I don't know, but I think that everyone else is monetising over this.
"For three years this has been absolutely glorified by everyone, people have loved reading about it so I think why shouldn't both girls, not just Rebekah, but if Coleen wants to also do Netflix docs or whatever it's been reported, then why not?

"They've got a right to earn money over something that's been personal to them. Everybody else is earning money from it so why shouldn't they?" Nicola said.
Nicola has since admitted she’s taking part in a documentary about the trial herself.
She’s set to appear in Channel 4 ’s documentary on the legal showdown Vardy v Rooney: A Courtroom Drama.
“I’ve taken part in the documentary – I don’t think this story is ever going to end,” she told Closer.
“Rebekah is not happy with the outcome but I’m glad it’s over for many different reasons. It took a toll on a lot of people’s mental health.”
