Ex-glamour model Nicola McLean has revealed she feels a sense of insecurity when she tunes into Love Island each year.
The reality TV star, 39, has posed for plenty of lads mags including Zoo and Nuts, as well as being one of the UK's most successful Page 3 girls.
Despite being one of the sexiest females in the world, she struggles to sit down and watch the ITV2 dating show with her husband Tom Williams as she finds herself comparing her incredible physique to the Love Island stars' hot bods.
Nicola, who retired from glamour modelling in 2006 due to being pregnant with son Rocky, is a doting mum-of-two and admits her body has "been through a lot".
"My body is better now than it was when I was an 18-year-old Page 3 girl. I've worked for the body I have," she opened up to The Sun.
The star has had three boob jobs and liposuction before her pregnancies and suffered from years of anorexia and bulimia disorders, but she remains "proud" of her body.
Nicola admitted she finds it difficult to watch the young stars on Love Island as she is getting older, which brings back memories from her modelling hey days.
She said it can be "hard to accept" physical ageing when she's famous for how she looks and often compares herself to "younger women", such as the Love Island girls.
"Whenever I try to compare myself with younger women on the telly, when we are watching Love Island, my husband will say, 'Nicola, she's 21 and hasn't had kids. Of course she looks different. But you look amazing'," she concluded.
Nicola says her husband is "right" and she has earned her body, and likes to do her naked shoots to show off exactly who she is.
