Fans of Mötley Crüe's Tommy Lee had to pick their jaws up from the floor after seeing the nude picture he shared.

The musician snuck past Instagram's strict guidelines and shared a full-frontal nude photo of himself.

He captioned the post: "Ooooopppsss" as if it was a casual photograph.

Tommy took the selfie from a high angle, giving followers a clear view of his assets. He appeared to be sitting at the side of a swimming pool.

It took Instagram around five hours to notice the shocking photo and take it down.

Fans couldn't believe their eyes and took to the comment section as well as his other posts to ask him what was going on.

"TOM YOU CANT POST THIS ON INSTAGRAM," one user said while another added: "So we just gon pretend nothing happened huh."

His wife Brittany Furlan clearly didn't expect to see his penis on the internet and said: "OH MY GOD".

TikTok star Daniel Mac asked: "How long will this stay up," while one posted: "….. so we not gonna talk ab the last post?"

Many told the star to 'go to sleep' before he caused more online damage.

Tommy also shared a snap of an elephant looking at a naked man.

Text was added to make it look like the elephant was asking the person: "How do you breathe through that little thing?"

It's not the first time Tommy's penis shocked people.

In Pam & Tommy, a series which stars Lily James and Sebastian Stan, Tommy's full front is shown to viewers.

The series follows the story surrounding Pamela Anderson and Tommy's sex tape in the mid-1990s.

The no-holds-barred show, which is streaming on Disney+, had been surprising viewers with its saucy scenes, but one moment, in particular, shocked everyone.

Sebastian, who plays Tommy, is seen standing in front of a mirror completely naked while talking to his penis as he’s high on ecstasy.

Much to the audience's surprise, the penis - voiced by Jason Mantzoukas - talks back, and moves around as it has a conversation with Tommy.

Tommy tells his penis that he’s so in love with Pamela that he’s planning on proposing.

Yeah, you read that right.
