Molly-Mae Hague has never been shy about sharing her distaste for the festive season and now she's shared the heartbreaking reason why she doesn't like Christmas.
The former Love Island babe, 21, has previously said that she "hates" the annual holiday, leaving fans baffled.
But during a candid Instagram Q&A on Tuesday night, Molly-Mae detailed the painful reason why she doesn't enjoy celebrating.
Taking to her stories, the blonde beauty said her hatred for Christmas is down to the fact her parents got divorced in her teenage years.
After a fan posed the question, "Why don’t you like Christmas?", Molly opened up about her family woes.
She replied: "I'm honestly not sure why, but sadly, I do think it kind of stems from my parents being divorced.
"It's a little different when your family isn't all together.
"I know this is the case for so many people but Christmas always brings up such mixed memories for me."
In recent months, the social media influencer has shared a closer glimpse into her home life, and Molly Mae has opened up about the difficulties she has faced in her life.
During a recent YouTube vlog, she went back to her hometown in Hertfordshire where she grew up, and throughout the video, she revealed that being back there brought up "mixed emotion".
This was down to the fact she lived there while her parents were going through their divorce.
Despite her hatred for Christmas, Molly-Mae is hoping this year will be different following the turbulent 2020 she's had.
