Maura Higgins has declared she and Molly-Mae Hague and "nearly died" on a terrifying yacht trip during their holiday in Greece.

The Love Island stars are enjoying a luxury break on the island of Crete along with Molly-Mae's sister Zoe and their hairdresser pal Jay.

The foursome headed out on a boat trip today for what they thought would be a glorious day sunning themselves on the ocean on a luxury yacht.

However, it turned into the trip from hell after rough seas left the group fearing for their lives.

Maura, 29, shared a video of the pals onboard with boat showing her clinging to the side while Molly-Mae's sister Zoe yelled at the crew to turn back.

In a clip filmed after they got back to their hotel, Maura told fans: "So guys we got on a beautiful yacht today, well what we thought was a beautiful yacht and we nearly died."

Molly-Mae, 21, then added:"I don't know I'm here right now.

Maura then pointed out that both Molly-Mae and her sister are trained life guards and they were both terrified.

Pointing at the sisters, she went on: "Strong life guard, another strong life guard and they were petrified.

"Me and Jay were nearly vomiting ," while Molly-Mae added: "You were crying and Zoe was crying."

Maura then said she would share the video to show "how bad it was".

In the clip, Zoe is heard saying loudly: "We want to go back! Now! We want to go back!"

Jay added: "We want to stop, we want to go back."

Another picture she shared showed Jay slumped over a table on the boat.

The group made it back to shore safe and sound.
