Mo Farah says he wants to do more reality TV or EastEnders and he has a “best friend for life” in AJ Pritchard after leaving the castle.

The Olympic gold medalist, 37, surprised many viewers with his jokes and cheeky personality in camp and would be keen to show more of it in the future on screen.

He said: “I would love to do another thing like this. I am one of these guys always up for laughs and I enjoyed being myself.

"I watched I'm A Celeb over the years and I asked myself could I do that, that is why I went in."

He added: “I am open to suggestions to other shows, I could do something crazy. Deep down I am that big kid.”

Asked about a possible cameo in EastEnders, he added: “Shane used to make me sound like Phil Mitchell in there. If you want to see that maybe you will see me running around Albert Square.

“I like EastEnders and I have watched it a lot over the years.”

Mo left the castle in a double eviction on Wednesday night with former Strictly pro AJ Prichard, 26, and the pair have struck up a firm friendship that is set to continue away from the show.

Mo said: “I got really close to AJ. I think I have found my best friend for life. I am a lot older but I look at how old he is,

“I wasn't doing half what he is at his age. He gives 110% and never complains, he just got on with it. He reminds me a bit of myself, you have to be willing to graft and put in the work."

He added: "I got that from him and we just clicked. He is humble and easy going and I like the kid.”

Mo also insisted he would be back jogging yesterday and has lost 1kg in camp which he will put back on over Christmas.

He goes into serious training for the Olympics in January.
