Millionaire Molly-Mae Hague apologises for moaning renting is a waste of money

Molly-Mae Hague, who is rumoured to have an estimated net worth of two million, had to apologise for causing outrage when she complained about rent

Millionaire Molly-Mae begrudgingly apologised for slating renting a home.

The Love Island star, who is rumoured to be net worth two million, was forced to eat her words when she infuriated her followers on Monday.

During a Q&A, the Pretty Little Thing ambassador complained about shelling out on rent because "it's a complete waste of money".

Little thought was given to her followers who could only afford to rent and weren't as fortunate as herself to be able to buy a place.

Molly-Mae was cornered into sharing an apology because she said people were taking offence even if she "sneezed" at the moment.

She wrote in apology: "If you're renting then go you? What a bloody achievement to be able to pay your rent each month I think.

"I was paying my own rent at 18 and was proud AF to be doing that. Renting and buying are both huge achievements.

"I swear people take offence if I sneeze at the moment."

Molly-Mae responded to the message: "'Renting is a complete waste of money'. OK miss money bags. Some of us have to rent ffs. Stupid."

Initially, the star accidentally riled up fans when she was opening up about her unique situation surrounding buying a place to live.

The model aired her frustrations over not being able to find the "perfect home" for her to live with her man Tommy Fury.

She wrote: "Not so great. We've been looking for a year now and still yet to find the right place.

"I know it's all for a reason though we are clearly being held off because the perfect house isn't out there yet. I'm so happy here though I'd love to stay here a long time and make it our own...

"But that's not the plan. Renting is a complete waste of money!"

Recently she offended her followers when she complained the food in Italy was "grim".
