Tupac Shakur had just got finished witnessing a Mike Tyson fight against Bruce Seldon in Las Vegas when he was shot and killed in a drive-by.
According to Hot New Hip Hop, Tyson has touched on the rapper’s death a few times in the past, however, in a new chat with Vlad TV, he expressed his regret over Shakur’s passing.

According to Mr. Tyson, he had actually pressured Tupac into coming to his fight because the rapper initially didn’t want to go that much. Tupac was later killed that night, and to this day, the boxing champ says he felt a little bad about it.
According to the boxer, he felt as though had he not pressured Tupac into coming to his fight, he might’ve lived. The boxer went on to say that he actually promised to hang out with the rapper that night, but he wound up staying home because he and his girlfriend of the time just had a baby.

Mike said she convinced him to stay home, so he did. Mike explained how he knew what was going on in the rapper’s world because it was the same type of thing he was going through as well.
In the same interview, Hot New Hip Hop reported, the boxer explored other memories he had shared with the rapper. As it was noted above, Tupac was murdered in a drive-by shooting on Las Vegas Boulevard on the night of September 7th, 1996, approximately half a year before his rival, The Notorious BIG (Christopher Wallace), was also shot.
