Start me up next week, says Covid-hit Rolling Stone Mick Jagger.
One of Sir Mick’s exes has shown plenty of sympathy for the old devil, who developed symptoms after a sound check and had to cancel a show in Amsterdam.
Yesterday Mick said: “Thank you all so much I’m feeling much better and can’t wait to get back on stage next week.”
The 78-year-old frontman’s ex, Luciana Gimenez, 52, said the whole family were behind his recovery.
The Brazilian model’s message to their son Lucas, 23, said: “He will be ok my darling… we are here for him.”
On Tuesday the Stones are due to perform in Milan, Italy.

The band are also set to play two historic shows as part of the BST Hyde Park series of concerts in London. Their first, on June 25, will be the same night that Sir Paul McCartney headlines at Glastonbury.
BST insiders said it was “business as usual” as they prepared for the massive gigs. The Stones last played Hyde Park in 2013, the year the BST concerts began.
They performed a famous free gig there in 1969, just two days after bandmate Brian Jones had been found dead in a swimming pool.

The band also features guitarist Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood, with Steve Jordan joining them on the tour following the death of long-standing drummer Charlie Watts, 80, in August last year.
The band made their return to the UK stage at Liverpool’s Anfield football stadium last week to rave reviews, including five stars in the Mirror.
The rockers have rescheduled the Amsterdam gig for July 7 and tomorrow’s planned show in Bern, Switzerland, to a later date.
