Maya Jama has spoken out about her ex boyfriend Stormzy rapping about their relationship in his music.
The 26-year-old television presenter, who dated Stormzy for four years before their split last August, has suggested she is unfazed by the lyrics.
Maya's response came after Stormzy named his ex girlfriend in his 2019 hit Lessons.
Speaking to Madison Beer during a Q&A session, Maya suggested that it is expected when dating a famous musician, according to The Sun.
Chatting about Stormzy's lyrics, she said: "I feel that going out with an artist, you kind of sign an invisible contract where it’s like, "This is this, it’s everybody’s business"."
The tune in question formed part of his number 1 album Heavy Is the head, which was released in December 2019, months after the A-list couple split.

In the track Lessons, Stormzy rapped: "Fast forward now, my nephew's still asking for his Auntie Maya, guess this is the karma for what I done to Maya.
"I just stood and let it burn, I couldn't down the fire. Lord, I pray you make it easy, that's my one desire."
Since her relationship with the rapper came to an end, the gorgeous television personality has caught the eye of another high-profile musician.
According to reports, Drake reached out to the star a few years ago before appearing to name drop her in a new track where he referred to her as a "sweet one."
Despite the attention, just a few months ago Maya told Cosmopolitan that she was 'nervous' about her next relationship while being in the public eye.
Although she tried to keep her romance with Stormzy private, Maya felt it might prove hard to keep her love life under wraps in the future.
She told the publication: "It makes me nervous [about] who I'm going to be with next, because if they aren't in the public eye already, maybe they're going to be brought into [it].
"It's made me extra careful. I was 20 when I got into that [with Stormzy]. Now life is different. Even social media is bigger.
"It's going to be harder to keep things private but I’ll do my best."
