Fortunately for the Golden Eagles, Lewis made a very tough tip-in, with the ball going above his defender right onto his hand. On the other side, Trice scored 17 buckets, with six rebounds. Jonathan Davis had 12 with the same number of boards, and Nate Reuvers ended the night with 11.

The Badgers will host Louisville this Wednesday, while Marquette plays against Green Bay, one day earlier.

In other matches of the night, all top-10 ranked teams recorded victories.
