Marnie Simpson is engaged!
The former Geordie Shore star said yes after boyfriend Casey Johnson popped the question.
She wrote on Instagram : "And just like that I’m now a finance, and I’m marrying the man of my dreams, how did I get so lucky️ @caseycodyj"
Casy added: "OMG SHE SAID YES!!!"
Marnie, 28, and Casey, 25, have been together ever since they met on MTV dating show Single AF in 2017.
They welcomed their first child together, a son named Rox, in October 2019.
Marnie's fans were thrilled to see they'd finally got engaged as they both shared the same stunning picture of them posing up together while she flashed her new piece of jewellery.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh," her former co-star Charlotte Crosby commented.
While fellow Geordie babe Abbie Holborn posted: "Congratulations to you both"
Marnie and Casey have been settling into their new lives as parents and have been seen navigating parenthood together on Geordie Shore spin-off Geordie OGs.
They welcomed little Rox back in October, 12 days past Marnie's due date.
Marnie has since vowed to use a surrogate if she has another baby following the traumatic birth.
The star lost two pints of blood during her 28-hour labour.
She admitted she has "genuinely spoken about surrogacy" as the thought of going through it again is too much.
Casey told OK! magazine : "It was the birth, it wasn't the pregnancy."
Distraught Marnie admitted she has not been the same person since having Rox and she confessed the labour has left her with major anxiety.
"I've honestly not been the same person since it. I really haven't. I've suffered with major anxiety," she confessed.
Despite getting together on Single AF, Marnie and Casey once confessed to Mirror Online that they already knew each other.
It turns out that the pair really met when Marnie saw an article about Casey and followed him on Twitter.
He'd been fired from boyband Union J and dumped by his girlfriend in the same week, and Marnie joked that she was interested in him because he was "vulnerable".
He told us: "First time I proper saw her was when she followed me on Twitter and I looked at her profile and thought, 'She's hot', and I couldn't believe it, she followed me randomly and then it turned out we were both on Single AF but we didn't know anything about it."
Marnie added: "I'd been split up from Lewis, and you know when you're just having a look and having a bit of a browse, there was an article that popped up with his face on."
"I was sacked from Union J and split from my girlfriend in the same week," he jumped in. "I was absolutely slaughtered by the press."
Marnie laughed: "It said he'd split from his girlfriend and I thought, 'Ooo he's vulnerable'.
"But it's the best thing I've ever done."
"I messaged her straight away," Casey said. "Slid into her DMs."
Marnie said that something "just happened" between them when they started filming the show together, and Casey said a spark between them was ignited when they were put on a flight to Mexico together.
Casey said: "We were sat on the plane for like 13 hours and we didn't watch one movie, we just talked."
