Mark Wright's dad makes public demand his son and Michelle Keegan to have a baby

Mark Wright's dad begged for his son and Michelle Keegan to make him a grandad by welcoming a little baby after they shared snaps with a newborn

Mark Wright's dad Mark Wright Sr publicly begged for his son and Michelle Keegan to have a baby.

His public plea was sparked by heartwarming photographs of Mark and Michelle, both 33, cradling her cousin Kate's newborn Brody.

Openly actress Michelle has spoken about her frustration over people asking about when she's going to have her first child.

Mark's dad took no notice when he demanded the couple made him a grandad and his wife Carol a grandma.

He wrote: "Lovely baby and it's about time you made me a grandad and your mum a grandma."

Mark's mother Carol echoed her husband's sentiments but she had a more tactful approach by telling the couple the baby "suited" them.

She wrote: "Oh beautiful little boy x x suits you."

Both Mark and Michelle appeared to be natural caregivers when they cuddled the little boy.

The former TOWIE star captioned the snap: "The day I met Brody. New member to the clan. Gorgeous little boy. @katiefearnehoughx & Tony he is beautiful !! love him already."

Mark and Michelle have been madly in love for eight years.

Sparks were flying when they started dating in 2012 and they were married in 2015.

Their marriage has gone from strength to strength after surviving the test of distance.

Michelle was jet-setting all over the globe to film BBC series Our Girl while Mark later took a hot-shot presenting job in Los Angeles.

However, the couple have now settled back into their £1.3million farmhouse in Essex with their sausage dog.

Lockdown has allowed the couple to spend more time together - albeit Michelle's complaints about Mark's "filthy" habits.

Previously, Michelle voiced her upset over people questioning when she was going to have a baby after wrapping up an acting job.

She told Cosmopolitan magazine: "A few years ago it didn't bother me and I answered the question, but now I think, "I don't need to answer that because nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors".

"I remember when I finished Our Girl people were like, "Is it because you're going off to have a baby?"
