Mark Wright and Lucy Mecklenburgh 'forget where they came from' as they skip TOWIE reunion
Georgia Kousoulou has slammed the TOWIE original cast for not taking part in the series because it gave them the celebrity lifestyles they now enjoy
Mark Wright and Lucy Mecklenburgh have been slammed for skipping the TOWIE 10-year anniversary series.
Georgia Kousoulou has said the two reality TV stars have "forgotten where they came from" by snubbing the show.
Since quitting the series, Mark had a successful career as a TV presenter in LA, while Lucy went on to have a successful fitness business.
While the cast of the series is still a secret, Georgia feels all the originals should return to the TV show that made them famous.
She told The Sun : "I think it is bad that some of the original cast decided not to do the anniversary special. I think everyone should have done it."
Mark, who was the original star of the series, reportedly feels like he has "moved on" from TOWIE.
Meanwhile, Lucy, who spent three years on the show, says she's too busy being a mum to her son Roman.
But Georgia feels they owe it to TOWIE to return because it gave them the celebrity lifestyles they now enjoy.
She added: "Even if you don't want to film new episodes for the 10th anniversary series, the least you can do is the reunion show. TOWIE has given you the life you have now.
"I don't think you should ever forget where you come from and I think it is a shame that some of the cast have."
Mark was in the very first episode of TOWIE back in 2010.
His doomed romance with his ex-girlfriend Lauren Goodger was one of the biggest storylines in the early seasons.
Meanwhile, Lucy joined later in the first series as his new girlfriend.
