Love Island star and dad-to-be Marcel Somerville is properly excited about becoming a parent - but he had to miss the first baby scan.
The handsome lad, 34, is expecting his first child with girlfriend Rebecca Vieira, 24, who he's been dating for over a year.
But he was kept away from Rebecca's first scan earlier this week as hospitals try to keep numbers down.
Chatting to Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng on FUBAR Radio, Marcel explained: "I couldn't go to the first scan because the hospitals weren't letting the partners in.
"So that was a bit annoying!"
Still, former Blazin' Squad star Marcel will be able to attend one very soon, adding: "We've booked a private one for Saturday, so when Saturday comes it's gonna be like, I get to go in and we're gonna find out whether we're having a boy or a girl."
The pair also asked doctors not to tell them the baby's sex - wanting to keep it a surprise for later down the line.
"We're gonna get an envelope with it in there," Marcel told, "but we're not gonna find out because we're gonna have like a little party and do a gender reveal party!"
The star admitted he's "edging towards a boy" despite just wanting a "healthy, happy" baby.
He continued: "I think I've got five mates who are having kids at the same time as me.
"We're calling them lockdown babies because obviously there's been nothing else to do during lockdown! I think four of the five are having little boys so there's going to be one little girl.
"So I could have a little girl and she could have only one mate that she could really hang around with properly but then I could have a boy and he could have a little gang, a new Blazin' Squad!"
Marcel rocketed to fame in 2017 when he entered the Love Island villa and coupled up with Gabby Allen.
The two soon solidified their fan favourite status and made it to the final.
And Marcel hasn't ruled out more telly appearances - admitting he wouldn't mind a crack at I'm A Celebrity.
Marcel's 2020 has been a crazy year for him, not just learning that he was becoming a dad, but also a receiving a shock diabetes diagnosis.
