Shaughna Phillips may still be single after appearing on Love Island and Celebs Go Dating but she has hinted that romance could be hiding in her Instagram direct messages.
The 25-year-old has admitted that she never looks in her message requests on the photo app as it "is a dark and dangerous place" but has told that her make-up artist recently took a peek and shared that a few footballers have sent her messages.
And suggesting that she would not mind finding love with a sportsman, Shaughna has said that she "may start venturing into the message requests!” to see who has plucked up the courage to approach her.
During a chat on FUBAR Radio, with hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng, the reality star explained: "I was on a photoshoot the other day and when I was shooting, my make-up artist said, ‘let me go through your message requests’. I was like, ‘ah okay, just don’t tell me anything you see in there’.”
She added: “I do not go in my message requests because that is a dark and dangerous place and I avoid. It’s like Lord of the Rings middle earth, like you don’t go in there. If I accidentally click on it I’m like ‘aaaahh get away!’”
Shaughna then teased that she is popular with soccer players, as she added: “There was apparently a few footballers in there. So much so that I may even have a five a side.”
Hinting that she is keen to explore the messages, she then admitted she “may start venturing into the message requests!”
Shaughna's comments come after speculation that she could be getting close with a fellow Love Island alumni.
In September she hinted there’s potential between her and Jack Fincham.
Earlier this year, Jack, 26, teased about having the hots for Shaungna as he sent a cheeky flirty message on Instagram expressing his want to date the Democratic Service Officer while she was on the ITV2 show.
And suggesting she is open to dating the Essex lad, Shaughna has hinted that love could be in the air with the former pen salesman, as she teased "that would be telling” when probed in a recent interview.
Despite the pair starring in different series of the Love Island, Shaughna admitted the pair would likely be running into each other some time soon.
"We’re on the same agent company so I'm sure we’ll be bumping into each other..." she bombshell told The Sun.
