Love Island's Maura Higgins and Chris 'simulate sex act' as romance hope hots up

Love Island's Maura Higgins and Chris Taylor toyed with their fans as they seemed to simulate a sex act amid followers' hopes they will get together romantically

Love Island's Maura Higgins and Chris Taylor appeared to simulate a sex act as they remained firmly in the friendzone.

Hopes for the pair to couple up has been hotting up on Instagram which fuelled them to make another joke about being stuck in the friend zone on Instagram in recent days.

Chris had no qualms jesting about staying in the friend zone with his stunning pal Maura in a very raunchy video.

The Love Island bombshell knelt in front of her male companion and appeared to simulate a sex act.

But in reality she appeared to be looking for a TV remote which her friend was sat on.

Chris joked about thinking he had finally climbed out of the friend zone to discover he was more in the friend zone than ever before.

He wrote in the caption: "When you THINK you’ve shawshanked the friend-zone @maurahiggins.

"Ahhh...friend-zone, nice to see you again, how’s life? The kids well? Excellent.

"Yeeeeeeah, had better days actually mate. See you soon though yeah!? Lovely."

Love Island fans have been begging the pair to get together romantically but there seems to be no progression on this yet.

They became firm friends in Love Island, although they both failed to find long-lasting love on the show.

Just weeks after wrapping up, Chris and his then-love Harley Brash went their separate ways for good.

Maura's most successful relationship from the villa was with Curtis Pritchard but it came crashing down earlier this year.

She has yet to embark on a new romance since her relationship with Curtis crumbled.

Curtis was spotted kissing fellow dancer Amber Pierson after previously denying there had been any chemistry between them while he was with Maura.
